Judson wins 2 in tournament

Judson 8, Viterbo 3: Freshman Katie Kirker allowed just 1 earned run and struck out 10 as Judson won its first game at the Ashford Tournament in Morrison, Ill. Deanna Deboscherre went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, Bri DiGiola was 2-for-3 with a double, Maddie Smith drove in 3 runs and Shannon Nevins had an RBI for the Eagles.

Judson 12, St. Ambrose 10: Shannon Nevins was 3-for-5 with 4 RBI, Allison Catlett had 3 hits and an RBI, Bri DiGiola had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Maddie Smith a triple and 2 RBI and Amber Mysliwiec 2 hits with a double and 2 RBI as the Eagles outslugged St. Ambrose. Brianna Tennyson added a double and Deanna Deboscherre drove in a run for Judson (29-11). Sarah Boyer got the win, striking out 12.
