Marmion Academy honors seniors heading for military

On Sunday, April 21, Marmion Academy will honor senior students who will be entering military service or accepting ROTC scholarships next year.
These seniors will be recognized and receive a special blessing at the 11 a.m. Mass at Abbey Church, 850 Butterfield Road in Aurora. The students being honored include Anthony DiSanto of Lisle, Dan Dukleth of West Chicago, Max Kelly of Downers Grove, Garrett Lappe of Big Rock, Alan Maxwell of Aurora, Maxwell Meyer of Geneva, Jack Novotny of Lemont, Robert Romaska of Park Ridge, Peter Shares of St. Charles, Alex Trotsky of Yorkville, Benton Winscott of North Aurora, and Joshua Zwolski of North Aurora.
Father Paul Weberg, OSB will be celebrant. He is a monk at Marmion Abbey and a theology teacher at Marmion Academy. In addition to his roles at Marmion, Fr. Paul serves as a military chaplain in the Illinois Army National Guard and will leave for active duty at the end of July 2013.
