POTOMAC -- Officials in Vermilion County in eastern Illinois are considering changes in where wind turbines can be located.
At a hearing Monday night in Potomac some people who live near turbines say they now live with annoying low-frequency noises. Ted Hartke lives in a wind-turbine field and says the noise now wakes him up in the middle of the night. Potomac is about 35 miles northeast of Champaign.
