Quick Whole Wheat Bread

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups buttermilk

¼ cup honey

¼ cup molasses

Grease a 9-inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together flours, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, honey and molasses. Add dry ingredients to buttermilk mixture and mix with rubber spatula until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan and set pan in the crock of an oval slow cooker. Cook on High for 1 to 1½ hours.

Serves eight to 10.
