Gays miss out on full potential of life

I extend my condolences to the gay community. They have willingly distanced themselves from the genuine feelings of mercy and compassion that are generated through a union between a man and a woman and, in particular, through its natural consequence - having and raising a child of one's own.

This practice, which has been in existence since the beginning of human creation and has been critical for its survival and evolution to this day, has inherent in it many fine and subtle lessons of mercy, compassion, sympathy, love, tolerance, forgiveness, kindness and generosity, to the extent that no other relationship can compare.

If one were to ponder over nature carefully, one would find that everything has been created in pairs. The pair created among humans (man and woman) is especially important because it is through the union of that pair that a person can attain excellence of personality and achieve peace of mind.

At the end of the day, it does not matter what gay couples want to call their union (although evidence suggests they only seek the economic benefit of a legally-recognized marriage). What matters is their inability to achieve the full potential that life has to offer in the realm of marriage and parenthood that can only come from traditional matrimony.
