Brody Garkisch will be good for library

In Arlington Heights we are fortunate to have many outstanding services at our disposal; foremost among them is Arlington Heights Memorial Library.

Joan Brody Garkisch will make an exceptional trustee. In my experiences with Joan, I’ve gotten a unique look at how she operates and her approach to problem solving. Together we created an advanced reading group at Windsor Elementary School. In our work together I’ve witnessed first hand Joan’s ability to attend to details while keeping the big picture in mind. That is a rare skill.

Additionally, she has an enviable ability to get to the core of a discussion and to gently and logically bring an audience with her. The clarity Joan brings is not only refreshing and borne of wisdom and experience; it will also be a necessary part of keeping our library strong and progressive.

When applied to a group of 10-year-olds her skills have worked magic. When applied to an information powerhouse like Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Joan Brody Garkisch’s skills will be outstanding.

I passionately support Joan Brody Garkisch for library trustee.
