Moss signs training camp deal with Sky

The Chicago Sky has signed D’Andra Moss, to a training camp contract, head coach and general manager Pokey Chatman announced.

Moss, a 5-10 guard who played four years at Virginia Commonwealth University, is currently playing for Italy’s Liomatic Umbertide. In 18 games this season with the Umbertide, Moss has averaged 16.5 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game.

As a senior at VCU, Moss was awarded All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) First Team Honors. Moss was the fourth highest scorer (17.7 points per game) in the CAA her final season. She was also ranked fourth in free throw percentage (. 813) and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (. 357).

Moss joined Finland’s Torpan Pojat Helsinki for the 2011 season. During her 32 game appearances, Moss averaged 12.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Averaging 25.1 points per game, she capped the season as the top scorer in the Finnish League. The following year, Moss led the Spanish Women’s League in scoring (20.2 points per game) as a member of Gran Canaria.
