CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Jack Black and filmmaker Richard Linklater will headline this year's Roger Ebert Film Festival in Champaign.

Ebert is a native of nearby Urbana and graduate of the University of Illinois.

The Sun-Times film critic has tried to highlight films he believes are overlooked at past festivals. This year he'll use Terrence Malick's "Days of Heaven" to open the festival.

Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton will also be at the festival to discuss her role in the 2008 film "Julia."

Individual tickets go on sale April 1.
