Congressional staffers feeling the pain

  • Article
text size: AAA

In response to the March 8 letter from Carla Eisenberg regarding congressional pay, she states that "congressional salaries are exempt from any reduction." While those sitting in Congress may be exempt, those who are employed by Congress are not. My sister, who works for the Library of Congress, is anticipating a one- to two-week loss of pay due to the "sequester." We should all be careful to not paint with too broad a brush.
