The United Way of Lake County needs donations of flat screen monitors, laptop power cord adapters, USB keyboards and mice for individuals or companies for its Computer Learn and Earn Initiative. Donations may be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 330 South Greenleaf St., in Park City. The agency also is seeking volunteers or interns who would be willing to refurbish computers. Experience in refurbishing computers (testing and installing hardware, cleaning hard drives and reinstalling operating systems/hardware) is desired, but training can be provided. Hours are flexible. To learn more about the Computer Learn and Earn Initiative contact Alicia.Garcia@uwlakeco.org.
