Kane County
• Someone broke a window on a home in the 1100 block of Howell Place near Aurora between 11:10 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Thursday and stole a television, Xbox, PlayStation, a laptop, games and other items and ransacked the house, according to a sheriff's report.

• Someone drove a vehicle through a lawn at the intersection of Amherst and Bonnie courts near St. Charles between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Friday, according to a sheriff's report.
• A resident of the 5N400 block of Glen Oak Lane near St. Charles reported that she lost her purse, which contained $120, sometime March 8, according to a sheriff's report.
