Vandals strike outside Arlington Heights homes

Arlington Heights police are investigating damage to several properties in the 1600 and 1700 blocks of North Chestnut Avenue.
The reported vandalism occurred about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said a pair of juveniles were questioned but no charges were filed immediately.

Four properties were affected, police said, with damage to lawn ornaments — including a lawn frog — and light poles.
