About this Article

If you see 10-foot crocodiles hanging out this summer along the Fox River banks in Elgin, don't be alarmed — they won't be real crocs, but public benches for people to sit on. This year's public outdoor art exhibit and competition in Elgin will be called "What the Croc," tying in to the so-called "SuperCroc" exhibit that will be on display from May through August at the Gail Borden Public Library.
