No injuries were reported Tuesday when fire caused extensive damage to a one-story house near Glen Ellyn, Lt. Craig Eldridge of the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company said. Only one resident was home at the time, Eldridge said, and she escaped unharmed.
