The Des Plaines Medical Reserve Corps will have a general meeting on 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9, at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy. for anyone interested in joining the volunteer group. The MRC, which consists mostly of medical and some non-medical volunteers, welcomes the public interested in assisting in a community emergency or disaster.
