Residents got their first glimpse at the new grocery store that will occupy the long vacant Dominick’s in downtown Rolling Meadows on Thursday and most said they were happy with what they saw. “(Uncle Joe's is) a real neighborhood grocery store, we want to see our customers every day and be on a first-name basis with them," owner Louis Ruffalo said.
