Mothers of multiples group to host open house

The Multiple Choice Mothers of Multiples Club is hosting its annual membership drive at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

Established in 1987, Multiple Choice is a support group for women with multiple birth children (twins, triplets, and more) and is a member club of the Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Club, Inc. and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc.

The purpose of Multiple Choice is to provide a network of support, educating and assisting mothers with challenges uniquely related to raising multiple birth children. Members are residents of the North and Northwest suburbs of Chicago including Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Wheeling, Long Grove, Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, Riverwoods, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, Barrington and Palatine.

The Multiple Choice Open House will be a social event allowing prospective members a chance to learn more about this 25-year-old organization. Expecting and seasoned mothers of multiple birth children are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided. Please email multiple_choice_mom@yahoo.com for more information and meeting location.

General meetings are held on the second Wednesday evening of each month. Meeting topics include Q-AND-A’s and expert presentations relating to raising multiple birth children as well as social events. Members also receive a monthly newsletter and have access to online forums. Any mother of multiple birth children is invited to join.
