One could understand if Tom Burleson of Crystal Lake reacted with outage, or even joy, at the news that the man who had killed his family in a 1999 DUI-related crash had been arrested again Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence. Instead, Burleson said, "I was sad, disappointed, and there was a sense of relief. Sad because he didn’t learn his lesson. He’s fallen back into his old ways."
