The Republican primary in the race to replace former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is still too close to call.
With 97 percent of precincts reporting in the Chicago-area 2nd District, only a few votes separated Paul McKinley of Chicago and Eric Wallace of Flossmoor.
Former state Rep. Robin Kelly won the Democratic nomination. She's widely expected to win the April 9 special election because the district is strongly Democratic. Kelly former Congresswoman Debbie Halvorson and Chicago Alderman Anthony Beale.
