Biden shotgun advice is dangerous

Vice President Joe Biden’s emotional advice and example that people could keep a shotgun in their homes for protection most likely will get you killed and your wife and children raped, murdered and your home burned down.

The intruders already outnumber you, have the element of surprise and are inside your home. You have the recommended two-shot break-action shotgun. You have to break open, seek more ammo and reload in the dark while your attackers are still moving aggressively toward you. Biden’s advice to go outside and shoot into the air assumes you are going to hear someone sneaking in the dark over the TV, AC, conversation and wind, and still wake up.

A shotgun is the best close quarters battle in pitch black defensive firearm — minimum eight shots, semiautomatic and improved cylinder choke, and get moving toward your rifle ASAP.

Hopefully the intruders are untrained and lousy shots. They will still have the fast and furious firearms they purchased from the U.S. government-sponsored program to arm sociopaths.

You will have to be able to shoot through the walls of your own home to save yourself and your family. The shotgun with No. 6 can’t accomplish this requirement in dire circumstances. Your family’s lives are already in lethal danger.
