Jackson was wanted in the fatal stabbing of Marlon Vaughn on a Chicago street Jan. 22. Police said Jackson's toddler son was with him when the stabbing occurred.

A U.S. Marshal's task force determined Jackson was in the Memphis area and he was located after surveillance.

Jackson is held in the Shelby County jail, awaiting extradition to Chicago.
