Former Naperville North High School guidance counselor John Carbonaro was formally sentenced Tuesday to probation and jail for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student.Carbonaro, 35, of Warrenville, pleaded guilty in January to criminal sexual abuse in exchange for 30 days of jail work release, 30 months of probation, and 30 days in the Dupage County Sheriff's Work Alternative Program. He also must register as a sex offender for 10 years.SiteIndex
