Chess is among the youth programming to be offered starting in March at Grayslake Area Public Library. The library's chess club is scheduled to gather from 4 to 5 p.m. March 1, 15 and 22. The program is for experienced players and those who want to learn. It also is an opportunity to meet new friends, improve problem-solving skills and enjoy a challenge. Ages 8 and up are invited to the program, which has limited space. For more information, contact head of youth services, Patricia Greedan, at (847) 223-5313 or pgreedan@grayslake.info.
