Rutherford, McConnaughay raise money for food pantries

The event was sponsored by the Kane County Farm Bureau and pitted Rutherford against State Sen. Karen McConnaughay, who was competing for Food for Greater Elgin. The two were seeing who could amass the most expensive bill while collecting nonperishable food for five minutes.
