Drones complaints miss the point
As a self-defined mainstream American, I find the recent concerns about killer drones, renditions and detentions specious, manipulative and absurd. Please don’t carp to me about ideals and legality.
The fact is, we are at war against a ruthless, elusive and single-minded element that targets the most innocent and defenseless, without reservation or remorse. As long as foreign governments give sustenance and sanction to al-Qaida murderers and cowards, I will support any and all efforts to wipe them out.
