I believe it should be an elected position so it is not a hand-picked person overseeing public records. The registered voters of Round Lake Park should have input on the person holding this office.
What steps would you take as village clerk to improve and increase the flow of information to residents?
Work on keeping the village website current as well as encouraging residents to attend the bi-monthly village board meetings and community events. Consider providing Village communications in both English and Spanish.

Being a long-time resident of Round Lake Park, I felt it was time to become more involved in my community. I have had good examples from various family members who have served in elected positions in the Round Lake Area over the last 100 years. I would like to carry on their example of serving in my community.
