If yes, please explain: NoCandidate's Key Issues Key Issue 1 The number one issue for my campaign is to keep the Wauconda Area Library meeting the needs of the constituents.Key Issue 2 The second issue is to keep up with the ever changing technological advances in computers, printers, ipads, Nooks, etc.Key Issue 3 3.The third issue is to make sure we have fiscal responsibility as to living within our budget.Questions Answers Why are you running for this office, whether for re-election or election the first time? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?I have loved Libraries since I was a small child .I got my first library card at the age of five. As a young mother, .I took my babies to the library. They loved the cardboard books ! They also have become life long readers. This is my way of giving back and love serving the public in this endeavor.If you are an incumbent, describe your main contributions. Tell us of important initiatives you've led. If you are a non-incumbent, tell us what special contributions you could make.I have served on several committees .Have also served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President.Do you have a library card? How long have you had it? How often do you use it?I have had a library card since 5 years of age. I use it a lot at our library and in or 3M cloud library too. I also use it at other libraries as well.Space is usually an issue at libraries. If that's the case at your library, would your solution be to expand the physical plant or make room by doing away with parts of the collection that technology has made less critical? Explain.I think it would be best to conduct a survey as to what the library constituents want.What impact have economic and technological changes had on libraries? How does a library remain relevant? How should its role in the community change?unfortunately not all the library users have access to computers, etc. Fortunately our library does have them to use!
