How long have you had it? How often do you use it?YES! 5 years ....WeeklySpace is usually an issue at libraries. If that's the case at your library, would your solution be to expand the physical plant or make room by doing away with parts of the collection that technology has made less critical? Explain. We have done that already at our library by reducing the reference collection that is offered electronically and keeping a close eye on circulation and patron requests to make sure we are offering what is relevant and highly in demandWhat impact have economic and technological changes had on libraries? How does a library remain relevant? How should its role in the community change?E Books and online availability of databases have made it possible for patrons to use many of our services from home, which is great. We will continue to increase our ebook offerings and educate patrons on their options and services that we provide. The challenge is the we want patrons to continue to come into the library, so we are adding great programming options for all ages.
