About this Article

To become an Eagle Scout, a Scout must complete at minimum 21 merit badges in the time it takes him to complete all Boy Scout ranks from Tenderfoot to Life Scout. With busy schedules, this number can sometimes seem rather difficult to reach. Luckily for Scouts looking to get a leg up on their merit badge count, the Boy Scouts of America, Three Fires Council encourages Scouts to participate in Merit Badge University, hosted by the Potowatomi District, on Saturday, February 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at York High School located at 355 W. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst, Illinois.
