James "Pate" Philip State Park is facing temporary closure unless the agencies sharing responsibilities and funding for the park can come to terms on a new operating agreement. An agreement is set to expire on Monday between the DuPage County Forest Preserve District, Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Bartlett Park District dealing with the operation of the state park, which is in Bartlett at the junction of DuPage, Kane and Cook counties.
