"Flight" -- The suspenseful film is like a roller coaster that will have your emotions going up and down. Whip Whitaker (Denzel Washington in one of his best performances in many years) has made mistakes, and his wife divorced him. His teenage son wants nothing to do with him.

He has many addictions. His girlfriend is a fellow addict and his best friend (John Goodman) is a drug dealer. Whip drinks and takes drugs, and he always feels in control.

He also is a captain of a commercial jetliner. On a routine mission from Florida to Atlanta, his plane encounters stormy weather, develops mechanical trouble and goes into an uncontrollable dive.

This is a tension-filled scene as the experienced pilot lands the jet as best he can. He knows that he was under-the-influence of drugs and alcohol, and an investigation will ruin him forever.

The film plays with our emotions, as we witness his life connecting to many others.

It is a powerful film that will touch you on many levels and will stay with you for a long time.

"Peter Pan: Diamond Collection" -- One of the great Disney classics has been remastered for the finest video and audio qualities. The story never gets old, and new generations constantly rediscover these characters and music.

Bonus materials include a documentary, featurette, audio commentary, interviews with the voice talent, animators, historians, and live-action models, plus a segment of deleted scenes and songs, a treasure hunt game, DVD storybook, alternate endings, and a storybook app that plays on an ipad, iPhone or iPod.

"Joseph Campbell & Power of Myth With Bill Moyers" -- This 25th anniversary edition once again captures Professor Campbell as he discusses age-old myths and how they relate to our lives.

Campbell speaks in terms that everyone can understand, as he breaks down myths and underscores how religion plays a part in our lives.

The three-disc set covers six hours of the most-watched programs on PBS.

Campbell was a remarkable man who taught college for 40 years and wrote many books.

This series will make you think about your own life and the future. Moyers is a great interviewer who was taught by Campbell.

"Paul Williams Still Alive" -- In the 1970s, Paul Williams was everywhere, a songwriter who won Grammys and an Academy Award. He appeared in movies, and appeared on "The Tonight Show" more than 50 times. Paul was also president of the recording group ASCAP.

This documentary follows Paul's career as we see him performing and appearing on various television shows.

His life had many ups and downs, and his story is fascinating.

Next week: "The Best of Warner Brothers Musicals," "Bully," "The Man With the Iron Fists," and "Top Gear: 50 Years of Bond Cars," plus this year's Oscar nominees "Skyfall," "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "The Sessions."
