Pete Lettecci (aka “Pete the Pro”) gives a demonstration on how to grout tile in the Century Tile & Carpet booth at the Old House New House Home Show Saturday. Lettecci, who lives in Lake Zurich, teaches about 200 ceramic tile installation classes a year for Century Tile & Flooring. The show continues at the Mega Expo Center and Ballroom at Pheasant Run Resort Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Susan Evans of Berwyn admires the Amish craftsmanship of a table in Romeo Panozzo’s (far right) Custom Furniture Design USA booth at the Old House New House Home Show Saturday. Panozzo works with over 100 craftsmen and offers furniture in cherrywood, hickory, walnut, maple and more. Evans and her husband own a 106-year-old Frank Lloyd Wright home in Berwyn and were at the show getting ideas for remodeling. Susan says the furniture, “It’s right up my alley … the quality and craftsmanship.” The show continues at the Mega Expo Center and Ballroom at Pheasant Run Resort Sunday from from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
