Carol Stream parks, village bicker over sign costs

Village and park district officials in Carol Stream have proposed that current identification signs at Town Center be modified in advance of the opening of the new recreation center. But the two sides can't agree on whether to split the cost.

Former Carol Stream Village President Ross Ferraro has been credited with having the idea to create the Town Center, and officials decided in 2004 to name it after him. But it's possible his name could now be coming off two identification signs on site.
