A man wearing a ski mask robbed a bank Thursday afternoon in Mount Prospect, authorities said.
The robbery occurred at 2:40 p.m. at the Bank of America branch at 1080 S. Elmhurst Road, police said.
The robber entered the bank, approached a teller window, handed the teller a note, and left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a police department news release.
The thief was described as male, 6 foot to 6 foot 2 inches tall, with a medium build. In addition to the full face ski mask, he was also last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt.
No injuries were reported.
Mount Prospect police and FBI said they were continuing to investigate the robbery and asked those with information to call (847) 870-5654.
