Two road improvement projects will be among the topics from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at the Bull Creek-Bull's Brook Watershed Council meeting at the Libertyville Township hall, 359 Merrill Court, Libertyville. Illinois Department of Transportation Engineer Stan Masnik will present an update on the widening and reconstruction of Route 21 between routes 120 and 137, which includes bridge and culvert crossings, improvements to the drainage system and construction of retention ponds. Steve Schilke of IDOT will discuss the environmental study for the improvement of Route 83 from Route 132 to Route 120, and Route 137 from Route 83 to Peterson Road. A community advisory committee is working with the agency to develop design alternatives. Call (847) 377-7717.
