Four Democratic candidates for Schaumburg Township offices have consolidated the appeals of their removal from the April 9 ballot into one case. They will appear together before a single Cook County circuit court judge at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Daley Center in Chicago.
Trustee candidates Mike Murray, Carolyn A. Quinn, Zuhair Nubani and highway commissioner candidate Michael Lenehan were removed from the ballot by a 2-1 vote of the township electoral board on the basis that they were slated by an official not properly appointed Democratic committeeman.
