By

Alec Brown scored 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting, and Green Bay rode a late 10-0 run to 73-65 victory over Loyola on Saturday afternoon.

Sultan Muhammad added 14 points for the Phoenix (12-11, 6-4 Horizon League), and Jordan Fouse had eight points and 13 rebounds. Green Bay shot 58 percent from the field, including 6 of 13 from 3-point range.

Ben Averkamp scored 17 points and Christian Thomas chipped in 16 for the Ramblers (13-9, 3-6). Jordan Hicks had 15 points, including three 3-pointers — one of which gave Loyola a 55-50 lead with 6:40 to play. But Green Bay scored the next 10 points: Muhammad had a trey and a layup, Brown hit a jumper and Cole Stefan capped the run with a 3-pointer with 3:33 left.

Devon Turk’s 3-pointer pulled Loyola within 66-62 with 39 seconds left, but the Ramblers could get no closer.
