Morning crash stalls traffic on Jane Addams tollway
Traffic is moving again after an earlier accident closed multiple lanes on the eastbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway near Elmhurst Road for a short time on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Illinois State Police responded to a minor accident involving three vehicles near the Elmhurst Road exit shortly after 9 a.m., said Sgt. Paul Carlos.
One woman was transported to a hospital after reporting dizziness and headache symptoms, but her injuries did not appear serious, Carlos said. No one else was injured in the crash.
Lanes were reopened within the hour, Carlos said.
