Burlington Central 49, Marengo 40: The Big Northern East champion Rockets got 10 points each from Sam Pryor and Becca Gerke to stay perfect in the league. Kayla Ross added 9 points while Shelby Holt and Ally DeTamble had 8 each for Burlington Central (20-4, 11-0).
Geneva 48, Elgin 38: The Maroons outscored Upstate Eight River co-leader Geneva 19-9 in the second half but it wasn’t enough. Kristin Tayag had 13 points and Anna Eckholm added 10 for Elgin (8-17, 1-10).
Hinckley-Big Rock 47, St. Edward 38: Clarissa Ramos and Katie Swanson had 10 points each for St. Edward in this nonconference loss. Chelsea Gnan added 8 points for the Green Wave (2-22).
