The village of Libertyville hosts an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 to discuss a federal energy grant program that can help save residents up to $1,750. Village officials say the program provides a low-cost home energy assessment. Residents who opt to make improvements can save up to 70 percent of the amount up to $1,750 as part of the grant program funded through the U.S. Department of Energy and local utilities. The meeting is at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St. Visit www.energyimpactillinois.org or call (855) 9-IMPACT.
