Bartlett fundraiser to help Larkin teacher

A fundraiser will be held Monday, Feb. 11, to help support Larkin High teacher Deborah Daly, shown here with her students from last year. Daly, who recently suffered five strokes, also has worked as a nurse at Provena St. Joseph Hospital.

Page 3On Monday, Feb. 11, a fundraiser will be held for teacher Deborah Daly from 7 to 11 p.m. at Moretti's Ristorante, 1175 W. Lake St. in Bartlett. The fundraiser will help raise money for her outstanding medical bills. Daly worked at both Provena St. Joseph Hospital and Larkin High School up until September when she suffered the first of five strokes. She worked at Larkin for 11 years as a sponsor, coach, and health occupations teacher.
