Didn’t envision weapons of today

Dear Congress: In this year 2013, it is time you all get your heads out of the sand. And start working for the people of this country. We all know what happened on Dec. 14, 2012. But do you know what happened the following day?

December 15, 2012 was the 221st anniversary of the Second Amendment. I would venture to say that if the Congress of 1791 could have looked into the future, they would not have signed it into law. And if they had, there would have been guidelines to follow. The Second Amendment gave us the right to bear arms and in 1791 that was a single shot musket that had to be reloaded after every shot, not the guns of today. We won the American Revolution war using a single shot musket. It is time for you to look into the future and make the changes that are needed.
