INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis fire official says 18 cars of a CSX freight train have derailed on the city's far west side but the accident has caused no injuries.

Indianapolis Fire Department Capt. Rita Burris says Wednesday morning's derailment resulted in no fires or leaks among the derailed CSX cars. She says the rail cars have been returned to the tracks but crews from the Wayne Township Fire Department remain at the scene.
