Police said they were called to the establishment about 12:30 a.m. for a report of a "highly intoxicated" woman who had been asked to leave several times. Ingerson kicked a responding officer in the leg and groin as she was being escorted to a waiting taxi, according to a news release.

Authorities described Ingerson as "violent and combative," and said she continued to kick the officer after she was handcuffed at the scene.

Ingerson remained in the DuPage County jail this morning.
