A car left the road and struck the attached garage of a home in southeast Naperville Tuesday afternoon.
Naperville police responded to a crash at 12:45 p.m. on 500 block of Sheffield Road. A Honda Accord struck the attached garage and did an unspecified amount of damage.
The occupants of the residence were home at the time but weren’t injured.
The driver, a woman born in 1958, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage.
She was transported to Edward Hospital with minor injuries after officers noted that she seemed disoriented, Naperville Commander Ray Adkins said.
