Both sides seemed to indicate an announcement was close via Twitter Tuesday. The Cubs and Pearl Jam both tweeted the same photos of Wrigley Field with the hashtag "staytuned." Pearl Jam also tweeted "Looking good."

The Cubs sent out a tweet that included "Ten," and a repeat of the "stay tuned" hashtag. There was also a link to a photo of a Ron Santo Cubs jersey (he wore No. 10). "Ten" is also the title of Pearl Jam's debut album.

Stay tuned indeed.
