President Barack Hussein Obama took the oath of office for his second term as president shortly before 11 a.m. today Central Time. Earlier, military members lining the streets of Washington saluted as President Barack Obama's motorcade zoomed by on his way to deliver the inaugural address of his second term. Waiting at the steps of the U.S. Capitol and in crowds across the Washington Mall was an eclectic audience that included warmly dressed women with American flags stuck in their hair, a smattering of celebrities -- rap artist Jay-Z and actress Angela Bassett among them -- and even some Republicans.
