The John Powers Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, 201 Hawthorn Parkway, Vernon Hills, will offer sign language classes for all interested individuals. Two levels, Sign Class 1 and Sign Class 2, will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evenings from Jan. 23 through March 13. The fee is $50. Call (847) 680-8320.
