Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena, 9 p.m.
TV: Comcast SportsNet
Radio: WGN 720-AM
The skinny: The Hawks won’t have Dan Carcillo, who suffered a lower-body injury late in Saturday’s victory at Los Angeles. “Danny’s going to be out a little while,” coach Joel Quenneville said. Rookie Brandon Saad is expected to take Carcillo’s place at left wing on the top line with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa. This will be the first meeting with the Coyotes since they ended the Hawks’ season in Game 6 of the playoffs. Raffi Torres, whose illegal hit on Hossa in Game 3 left the Hawks’ veteran with a concussion, is still serving the suspension.
Season series: First meeting
Next: St. Louis Blues at the United Center, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
