Cougars greet Cubs at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in Geneva

The Cubs on the Move 2013 Caravan visited baseball fans around the suburbs Thursday, with stops at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in Geneva and Fox Chase School in Oswego.

The tour highlighted the annual Cubs Convention, which opened Friday at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

On Thursday, eight Cubs -- players, coaches and executives -- played games with kids, visited them in their hospital rooms, joked around with Kane County Cougars mascot Ozzie T. Cougar and talked about the importance of fitness.

The Cougars are now a Class A affiliate with the Chicago Cubs.
